Dispel Games Inc. was established in Bournemouth, Dorset in late 2016 - early 2017, when the creator enrolled on an online university course . A lot of plannning, self motivation and dedication came together to start this wonderful journey, an adventure into the world of games design & programming. Our games are currently under development in conjunction with  a range of softwares including Unity Programs and are intended to entertain and educate our users.

Our first and upcoming release will be a free to play download, available summer 2017.  The short story, text based game known as Skjóldr Bálkr (meaning 'Sheild Wall' in old Norse) has been developed by the Dispel Games team and takes the gamer on Grettir's journey through the early Norse expansion. A lot of the games story is based on an actual time period and place within the late 8th century. and the main aim was to highlight struggles a young lady, coming of age would have to deal with in this violent and turbulant time. 

 

So please, if you are at all interested look out for its up and coming Beta and release.
